Sayer Law Group has a staff of 128 with operations in 20 states. While we handle a substantial number of creditors’ rights cases, we also have a general practice that includes family law, litigation, real estate, etc.

Prior to acquiring Perfect Practice we had a billing system and a separate case management program. We found our old case management program to be unhelpful beyond the basics and it did not share data with the billing component. Our old methods of document assembly and reporting were increasingly unmanageable as our case load expanded, and we realized the need for a comprehensive solution.

When we set out to find a new system, our primary focus was on the ability to deeply automate our high volume practice areas. We had a few national foreclosure clients and our volume was going up exponentially. We needed a true case management system and wanted integration between case management and our billing system. We also needed data exchange with our larger institutional clients. In addition, we felt it important that whatever program we selected be able to support the needs of other practice areas. This would provide standardization of procedures across the firm with only one system to learn and maintain.

After evaluating a number of programs, Perfect Practice had the best mix of overall capabilities, ease of use and ability to rigorously automate complex processes. It had the flexibility to accommodate all practice areas, which proved not to be the case with most other systems. They also had a reputation for personalized support and had been in business for years.

Our practice is now built on and around Perfect Practice. We have gradually added more and more efficiencies to our practice through features in Perfect Practice and continue to do so. Through the use of the customizable data screens and document assembly features we are able to operate with less staff and far fewer errors in documents. This also saves attorney time in reviewing documents vs. using less controlled templates. We also never have to reenter the data as a file moves through the system. It also allows for auto generated reports vs. our old reporting techniques which took many times longer to prepare with larger data sets. We now have data integration with some of our clients and have created other integrations which save key strokes all through the life of the file. I do believe having a case management system is a necessary element of retaining/obtaining larger clients, and our practice has grown accordingly.

The flexibility of the program lets us create intelligent fact sheets and documents ourselves, and their staff was happy to help us become as independent as we chose to be. While other companies might nickel and dime their customers with customization, we can do our own with Perfect Practice. Every department uses the program extensively.

While some programs do not offer server based installations, Perfect Practice does, as well as offering a Cloud option.

Our long term support experience has been excellent. Response time is prompt and their staff is knowledgeable and helpful. We made the right choice with Perfect Practice and highly recommend them.

Our attorneys at Kirsh & Kirsh, P.C., have used Perfect Practice for over 25 years, through many upgrades. Perfect Practice provides us incredibly strong and easy to use tools for scheduling, case management, document preparation, trust accounting, etc.

We operate in four different states and the nature of the practice requires extensive travel. We heavily depend on the Mobile Access feature that allows us to dictate notes or time from our smart phones and have them added to Perfect Practice real time. This is an incredible time saver that we can’t live without. Mobile Access allows us to interact with our data from our smart phones and home computers, just as if we were in the office. This gives us the ability to check our individual calendars and schedule new appointments while away from the office. We also extensively use the document assembly program and love the hot button access to case documents offered through the View Files feature. Our reporting system interacts with our data base to provide statistical analysis that has proven very useful for our adoption cases.

Lastly, and perhaps most importantly, tech support is second to none. The phones are also answered by live people and we usually speak directly with a technician when we call for support. If a technician is not then available, rarely do we wait as long as an hour for a return phone call. By the way, their technicians are based in the US. They are professional and knowledgeable, not just with their product, but with hardware and technology in general. They have been a very trusted partner to our firm.

We chose Perfect Practice because our old system was outdated and not compatible moving forward. Perfect Practice proved to be a stable option that allowed for customized forms and questionnaires to help our case management practices.

To our firm, one of our favorite features of Perfect Practice is the reporting option. We are able to run all types of pre-programmed reports along with any type of custom reports very easily. Another favorite feature is the overall integration. We love that we can ‘tag’ parties to cases and see which other cases they are involved in. It is great to be able to see all moving parts in one spot – appointments, messages, parties, etc. The program encompasses scheduling, financials, management features, reporting, and word documents.

Initial training/consulting was very hands on. The team was very supportive of our switchover from another system. It was stressful to move everyone to a new platform and have to re-train the staff but the team at Perfect Practice were there every step. They were there with quick response times and guided support throughout the transition.

Support with Perfect Practice has been fantastic. You get a human when you call in, and you are either transferred to support right away or you get a phone call back very quickly. They also allow support via email, which is helpful for those non-urgent needs. We would highly recommend Perfect Practice to colleagues.
